Most of the jaw-dropping travel destinations around the world today are plagued by excessive tourism. Uganda, a hidden treasure, is at the other end of the spectrum. Wild Privilege proudly offers the incredible safari experience in Uganda, demonstrating spectacular wildlife and breathtaking landscapes.

A one-week trip to Uganda provides an occasion to celebrate the serene grandeur of Kibale Forest National Park as well as the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Uganda has much more to offer than anyone would originally think and we are very proud to present you this blueprint of the itinerary for the exploration of unexplored pockets of Uganda.

Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe

On your arrival at the Entebbe International Airport, you’ll be picked up by our guide and dropped off at a luxurious hotel. Rejuvenate yourself with the overnight stopover in this pleasant town of old colonial gardens, parks and Lake Victoria in the background.

Day 2: Kibale Forest National Park

After having a delicious breakfast, we’ll begin our journey towards Kibale. In the afternoon we are going to explore mesmerizing Kibale Forest for chimp tracking and your guide will show you pittas, different birds and plant species during the excursion. This trip takes ideally two to three hours.

Day 3: Enroute Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Fasten your seat-belt for a long drive of about 6-7 hours from Kibale to Bwindi and start igniting the zest in your soul to enjoy wildlife to the fullest on the next day. You’ll check in to your lodge which is a perfect choice while embarking on your cherished Gorilla Trekking adventure.

Day 4: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

It’s time to commence our Gorilla Trekking in the popular Bwindi Impenetrable Forest right after having breakfast in the morning. It’s a lifetime opportunity to sit in the dense rainforest among the Gorillas, hearing them to ‘talk’ to each other and admire the giant size of the dominant male, the ‘Silverback’ during this trek. And in the afternoon, you can choose to spend some time in these activities - Bwindi Forest Walk and Batwa Cultural Village.

Day 5: End of the trip

After spending an exuberant week in some of the best attractions in Uganda, it’s time to bid goodbye to this exciting country. You’ll be transferred from the lodge at Bwindi to Entebbe International Airport. The drive is going to take about eight hours.

Dense, lush and otherworldly, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is one of the last redoubts of the mountain gorilla. Over 400 call this UNESCO-protected national park home, with the chance for visitors to trek to and meet habituated groups. Its biodiversity extends far beyond its most famous inhabitants, however; 348 bird species and 220 butterfly species can be found within its 331-square-kilometer expanse. - CNN Travel, 2019
