A journey to South Africa's two most expansive and diverse wildlife parks offers the luxurious opportunity of a lifetime for everyday tourists around the world. Kruger National Park is one of the largest and most beloved gems of South Africa's wildlife parks covering a land expanse of over 19,000 square kilometers. The park is home to more than 140 different species of mammals and ranks as one of in the best in the world for spotting wildlife. It is the ideal location for experiencing the unmatched diversity of South African animals.

Addo Elephant National Park is an elephant sanctuary with an equally matched assortment of species to inspire any wildlife enthusiast. A variety of both land and sea-based animals make for a once-in-a-lifetime photographing experience. More than 600 elephants roam the vast grasslands alongside rhinos, lions, buffalos, antelopes, zebras, and leopards, as well as the exclusive flightless dung beetle. In addition to the land reserve, Addo boasts a unique marine conservation feature for penguins and a variety of other remarkable marine wildlife. 

This luxury tour is designed for wildlife enthusiasts, travelers, and tourists from around the globe with any background or interest. Pristine accommodations and comfort will be provided as well as the opportunity for additional activities immersed within the beauty of South Africa's miraculous wildlife. This safari is for the truly adventurous at heart. 

 

Day 1 – Fly from Johannesburg to the Skukuza Airport in Kruger National Park where you will be greeted by your tour guide. You will then be escorted to your accommodations, one of the most luxurious family run lodges in Kruger National Park. This private safari lodge provides two daily game drives through the park and numerous walking tours. After settling in, enjoy 'high tea' with the rangers; an afternoon selection of the resort's specialty beverages and snacks. Then catch the afternoon game drive for your first chance to spot some of Kruger's finest wildlife. Head to bed early to get some sleep before your first full day. 

Day 2 –  Rise early for the sunrise on the deck or under the Marula trees and enjoy morning coffee or tea. The first early game drive will begin thereafter with professional rangers and trackers. You will transported through the bush following the tracks of nearby wildlife and provided ample encounter opportunity. A feast back at the resort will conclude your busy morning. 

The game ranger will then lead you on a walking tour for a more intimate experience in the bush and additional possibility for spotting wildlife. The afternoon high tea and game drive of the previous day before will conclude your active afternoon. 

Dinner will be served in the evening accompanied by a fire in accordance with the seasons. Enjoy watching the moon rise and contemplating the sounds of the otherwise quiet bush beneath a full blanket of stars. 

Day 3 –  Another 5:30am wake up will reward you with another beautiful "boma" in the bush accompanied with refreshments. You may catch sight of monkeys peering down from their watchful perches.

The morning safari will be structured in accordance to estimates of animal location and specifically geared toward capturing those perfect wild moments on camera. 

Spend the afternoon after your ritual morning feast relaxing poolside and recovering for the later game drive expedition. Guests may enjoy a complimentary massage. For the truly energetic, an additional walking tour opportunity will be provided.

The bush at night is a contemplative wonder of its own. Nocturnal predators move quietly across the landscape, glimpses captured by the ranger's spotlight. 

Day 4 – Rise early to enjoy your last morning in Kruger National Park. You will be driven back to Skukuza Airport and flown back into Johannesburg, from where you will fly into Port Elizabeth. From Port Elizabeth you will be taken to your accommodations for the next three days, and begin your journey in the illustrious Addo Elephant Park. More than 600 elephants along with lions, buffaloes, rhinos, spotted hyenas, leopards, variety of antelopes and zebras roam through this vast wildlife reserve. The unique Addo flightless dung beetle is not found anywhere else in the world. 

After quickly settling into your lodge and enjoying a light lunch on the porch of your new surroundings, it will be time for your first afternoon game drive through the park. Enjoy sunset in the bush and the Schotia Tooth and Claw Safari. The changing colors of the dusk sky make for a perfect backdrop for some stunning wildlife photos.

In the evening you are welcome to relax at your leisure, take a stroll through one of the countryside trails, get a glimpse and photos of some of the nearby grazing antelope, or enjoy some downtime poolside. 

Day 5 – Your first full day in Addo will begin early with a morning safari and plentiful animal interaction opportunities followed by lunch in the bush. A corresponding long safari afternoon through sunset will give you nearly 8 hours of true safari experience.

An additional possibility to take a Cheetah tour will be provided for a small cost.  The tour will allow you to get close to Meerkats, Black Footed Cats, African Wild Cats, Cheetahs, Leopards, Lions, and more!  

Dinner in the evening will be served at the lodge while you and the other guests gather together to exchange your experiences from the day. 

Day 6 –  Start your last full day in Addo with breakfast overlooking the lush countryside, herds of antelope, and another morning safari. 

Your afternoon will be filled with photographing experiences and additional activities you are welcome to partake in at your own expense, including a river safari or 4x4 trail tour between Kabouga and Darlington. The afternoon safari of sun downers will be one of the most memorable experiences of your life as you reflect on the amazing experiences of the last five days. 

Be assured your tour guide and other guests will have helped you hone your photography skills and you will have garnered a collection of high-quality wildlife photographs to last a lifetime. 

Day 7 – One last breakfast and morning safari will be enjoyed before you are driven back to the Port Elizabeth Airport, flown back to Johannesburg, and begin your journey home as a changed person, a better photographer, and experiences encased behind glossy photographs you can enjoy until you return for another safari with us in the bush.
